It it kid friendly??
Wait staff was courteous, happy hour menu was one of the best we encountered and the views of the market were awesome. Pictured below are the crab cakes which were delicious.
MoreFantastic place for Natives. Friendly staff reliable food, inexpensive booze. Don't tell the tourists!
MoreGreat place to go with your friends and family 🙂
Happy hour food deals are on point! Two piece fish and chips and popcorn shrimp are ~$5. They have pull tabs if you're into that sort of thing. :-). The views of the market make for great people watching.
MoreGot a window seat upstairs - wonderful. The food was really good and our waitress was awesome. She gave us great information and directions for things to do while we were there in Seattle.
MoreAfter visiting several restaurants and museums in the city I was happy we found this place. We have experienced so many rude people in Seattle. The staff here was so friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent. The food and drinks were delicious. Also great options for the kids! Thank you for making us feel welcome.
MoreNice view, decent breakfast at reasonable prices, and pleasant waiter and host.
Great place for breakfast, with window tables that overlook the main entrance to Pike Place Market. Good food and coffee. As tourists, this was a great place to start the day with breakfast at a fraction of hotel prices at one of the city's best attractions.
MoreI went here thinking of grab a burger close by to the market, and get a view... The view was the only reason I stayed. The waitstaff were strange and would greet you or ask you something, but only to quickly walk away before you had a chance to reply. There was only 3 tables of people, and it took upwards of 30 minutes to get my food order in. For the amount I paid, I didn't expect to have reheated fries with a burger that was very subpar.
MoreThe food was fine and the service was friendly but so slow. Lunch took an hour and a half and most of that time was waiting for our food. Unfortunately, the food was very average. This is definitely not a destination for those who are visiting Seattle. There are a lot of restaurants that are worth spending your time to visit.
MoreService was good. Food reasonably priced but not good. I’m not a foody and it is rare that I give a bad review. This is one of the worst I’ve been to. Couldn’t finish my meal. Meat had more fat than meat. Great location.
MoreFor 30 years my family and I have been eagerly coming here for for dinner during our annual Christmas trip to downtown Seattle and the Pikes Place Market. I'm sad to say this year will be the last. Starting last year, the menu has been scaled back. Our favorite super-nachos appetizer is gone. Our waitress (who was great) informed us that the fish is not sourced from the market anymore. Most disturbing was the very loud and awful music blaring throughout the dining room...something that would have fit better in an '80s disco lounge with strobe lights. Even the Christmas tree in the entryway is gone.
MoreRating a three star because wings did taste good service was very strange, odd looks from server at times would stare over wall separator at us. Just felt uncomfortable bought drinks an a appetizer and left asap.
MoreI love this place. Good food, nice views, the reason it isn't a 5 star is the wait staff is a bit slow. I'm not super upset about it though which is why I only knocked off 1 star. They are super friendly at the front when you need the key to go to the bathroom. Nice place!! Take your visiting family and friends here!
MoreWaited a half an hour to be seated because they were waiting on silverware after telling us less than 10 minute wait. From the time from seated to food being placed on the table it was 6 minutes short of an hour. Waiter never came by after taking our order. Almost every drink on the table was empty. Every burger/sandwich was cold to the touch. Fries tasted several hours old. Meanwhile an interview was taking place where 4 employees were casually chatting about their previous work experience. While the applicant was casually quiet and allowing the staff to carry the conversation.
MoreGreat place to chill and relax with friends and family, tucked away from the chaos in the market. Great pub and atmosphere!
MoreI used to love this place, but just went back and no more pull tabs??? The waitress laughed and said it’s been a long time since they had them :( bummer
MoreI like this place but I dont know what the deal is with the table tops, they are sticky no matter how much you wipe them down with. just AWFUL.Nice server though, it's not her fault. management needs to do something about these tables.
MoreGreat service, real fresh fish & chips, setting is great widows face Pike's Market Street.
MoreLoved it had such a good time had to go great food
Not my taste everything was fried
Friendly, relaxing and down to earth restaurant and bar. Great view of Pike market. Good prices. Clean. Friendly bar staff! Full bar available
MoreGreat bar with excellent view of the market. Great happy hour menu.
Great views overlooking the front of Pike Place Market. Friendly bartender and the food was good! The restaurant is on the second floor. Enter on 1st ave and you won't have to go up any stairs
MoreTheir seafood pasta was to die for. So fresh and so good! My husband got some wings, which he liked. I recommend this place for a good lunch.
MoreIt's a nice quiet place for lunch, I like the menu... Watch people at the Market..
MoreI visited last week of October. What made this a 4 star experience was our server, David. The food was average which is surprising for the location. The halloween decorations were so good. I would love to see what this place looks like around Christmas time. I would not go back for the food but would probably stop in for a drink.
MoreGreat location, great service. Gave me tips on things to do in the area. Try the smoked salmon breakfast!
MoreOf course our locals visit to Seattle is on probably one of the busiest weekends! Looking for a late breakfast spot proved difficult and we stumbled upon this little ditty. We asked kindly if they still were serving breakfast .. the host said, sure we can extend breakfast for you .. at 1:58 when posted breakfast hours end at 2, sweet! We were seated within a few moments, at a window seat overlooking the Market.
MoreReally down to earth! Had a great time 😂
Quiet spot in the midst of Pikes Place Market. Windows overlook the market but not the port. Great seating for a small crowd of friends. Fish and chips were great. Decent beer selection.
MoreGreat service, food is market fresh, with great views of the market below.
Nice people. Good food. Cozy atmosphere
Ok priced (for Pike Place Market) and average food with relatively quick and friendly service
MoreGreat, comfortable atmosphere with great food! The happy hour specials are super good!
MoreIt's likely the only reason you're looking at this place is because it's close to Pike Place. Look somewhere else. The wait staff is awful, and have no desire to help or wait on you. There are gobs of restaurants nearby with similar food, better made. Walk a couple blocks and you'll find something you like.
MoreWe had nice dinner. ...The customer service is friendly and good. ... the ambiance was great. ... the price is on the expensive side. ...The food was delicious. ...We had a great dinner. ...
MoreWent to goto Matt’s but they were booked for a private party so went around the corner to Pike Place Bar and Grill.. food was average at best, one bright spot was our server was very nice.
MoreAmazing service with friendly staff! Great food with fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Great location with a view of the Pike's market across the street where they throw the fish around! Overall great experience.
MoreFood was good and location great but service was terrible. We were ignored at first, we never got our appetizer, salads came out with the meal, one of our orders were wrong and they were slow to fix it. Afterwards the server was almost annoying us with too much attention. Don't usually write bad reviews but food was not enough to make up for such service. Note: the manager was nowhere to be found and it was a slow night. Better places to eat in the market.
MoreThe place has a nice old-fashioned ambience. They have bar food and beer. The staff is very friendly and prices are reasonable. You also get a overlooking view of the pike market.
MoreGood food great location
Good location. Adequate food to fill the void. Nothing special.
Service was great regular diner menu great place to catch late night snack
We just ate here and it was really good. I had the chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and sauteed onions, Hubby got the 3piece fish and chips and said he would have been fine with the 2 piece. The fries were really good too! Great service, good portion sizes we were very happy with the view overlooking the farmers market! Only negative we can think of is the sticky tables. They are clean! But they all have some kind of sticky treatment on them that really should be removed or replaced. It makes you feel like you're eating in a dirty back alley restaurant.
MoreIt's the best place to take your people when they come to visit... It's been there forever and it's adorable and they have all the food to eat that each person has a taste for... There's seafood there's burgers there's so much to choose from and all the booths are right next to Windows that overlook the Pike place market itself... It's good for locals too... Don't get me wrong... Very casual and comfortable if you're comfortable with casual ..
MoreThe best part of our Seattle visit. We kept going back
Such great food and the views are amzing! We have visited for years and always come back here.
